Abstract
The objective of the study was to determine the effect of nanotechnology foliar fertilizer on the health, size and yield quality of ‘Marechal Foch’ grapevine cultivar. The studies were conducted in the Nobilis Vineyard, the Sandomierz Upland (50°39'N; 21°34'E).The application of the nanotechnology-based Complex PA did not have significant impact on the number and weight of clusters per vine or the yield per unit area. Fruits from the vines sprayed with Complex PA showed a significantly higher solids soluble content as compared to control, the differences reaching over 2,5°Bx, that is 11,4%. Irrespective of the technology used, the grapes and leaves of the ‘Marechal Foch’ cultivar were found free from fungal pathogen infections. The Complex PA has significantly limited the occurrence of physiologic leaf necrosis and significantly affected the weight and leaf surface area in the grapevines under study.
