Analysis of organization structures and activity of some agrotouristic associations in Poland

Abstract

The aim of the work was system analysis of organization and activity of the essential elements concerning 41 agro-tourist associations in Poland within 2001–2003. The survey was done with the help of inquiry questionnaire. The survey results allowed to create value system of coefficients describing chosen elements of analyzed associations’ organization and activity. The above coefficients described such criteria like: quantity, structure, place, time, relation, level, possession and experience. The results of the survey allowed to estimate both weaknesses and strengths of associations’ organization and activity. The survey shows the great degree of differentiation of organization elements of  both associations as well as services scope and quantity. The number of associations’ members grew about 16.8% but dynamics of agro-tourist households membership was 21.4%. The dynamics of rendered services was 88.5%. Associations which rendered services assessed the quality of services high. Among 25 kinds of services – 84% gained 4.0 note and often the note was higher. The trends of the organization and activity show their essential significance for the development agro-tourism.
