The study was carried out to evaluate the genetic diversity among Brassica rapa germplasm grown in Azad Jammu and Kashmir based on their morphological characters and yield. The present study was carried out in the field of National Institute of Genomics and Advanced Biotechnology (NIGAB), NARC Islamabad from October 2017 to March 2018. The study showed great diversity among the germplasm for days to germination, primary branches, secondary branches, maturity, plant height, number of silique, seeds per silique, yield per plant and 1000 seed weight. The genotypes 026509, 026514 and 026548 showed maximum yield and other better morphological responses, so these genotypes should be used in future to enhance the production of this crop.

Brassica rapa is an important crop of Azad Jammu and Kashmir which is a major source of vegetable and oil.
