Abstrakt

In the field experiments the range of soil physical properties changes taking place in the unsown tramlines area after outfit running in comparison with untreated soil was analyzed. The field experiments there were implemented on sugar beet and triticale. Soil bulk density in the area of the tramlines significantly increased after the first travelling. At the end of vegetation period the soil bulk density was higher about 0.30–0.32 g/cm3 than at the beginning. The increase of soil density took place to the depth of 20 cm. Total porosity decreased to 32–39% (v/v), and aerial pores significantly decreased to 10.7% (v/v). Soil compactness increases till the depth of 30 cm, and it was especially high for surface layers. The tramlines limit the area pressed by the tractor wheels to a few percents of total area of the field. Plants of the border rows of tramlines are characterized by better growing condition and a higher yield than plants in the compact stand. It was found that the calculated yield of plants of unsown rows was fully compensated in sugar beets and considerably in triticale.
