In the following paper the energy aspect of differentiated pre-sowing cultivation was considered, taking into account the effect of the connection with increasing three-dose nitrogen fertilization. The comparison of the energy value of winter triticale yield (Pe) with total energy
outlay (Ne) enabled to determine the yield energy effectiveness. An mean energy effectiveness of winter triticale yield amounted to 3.65. It was highest in the pre-sowing cultivation with a cultivator (3.79) and the nitrogen dose of 50 kg ha-1 (3.95). The combination of the two factors made it possible to obtain the highest index of energy effectiveness (4.16). Under mean conditions of farming, four energy units of obtained products should follow from one unit of energy outlay.
