Abstract

In the years of 2001–2003 a field experiment was performed at the Research Station TAU in Minikowo. The aim of this experiment was to determine the influence of different levels of nitrogen fertilization (0, 60, 90, 120 kg ha-1) on grain yield and technological parameters of three spring wheat cultivars (Ismena, Vinjett, Jasna). It was found out that the Vinjett cultivar was characterized in general by a higher value of qualitative parameters in comparison with Ismena and Jasna cultivars. Average essential height of height of grain yield of spring wheat was obtained under the influence of diverse nitrogen fertilization to level 90 kg ha-1. Values of technological coefficients of the studied cultivars of spring wheat showed height tendencies in all ranges of practical doses of nitrogen. However a significant increase of the protein and gluten content was found under the effect of increasing doses of nitrogen up to the level of 90 kg N ha-1, while for sedimentation ratio and bread volume it was 120 kg N ha-1 and 60 kg N ha-1, respectively.
