The Journal of Animal Science, Biology and Bioeconomy (formerly "Annales Universitatis Mariae Curie-Skłodowska, Sectio EE Zootechnica", ISSN 0239-4243, ISSN online 2083-7399) has been publishing original articles on research in the field of animal sciences, animal products, biology, and bioeconomy since 1983.

The Journal of Animal Science, Biology and Bioeconomy is an open access online journal (published in print until 2025), in accordance with the Budapest Declaration, under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Articles published before 2022 are available under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license.

Topics include: animal husbandry, nutrition, genetics, ethology and animal welfare, quality of animal products, impact of animal production on the environment and bioeconomy.
