Czasopismo Journal of Animal Science, Biology and Bioeconomy (dawniej Annales Universitatis Mariae Curie-Skłodowska, Sectio EE Zootechnica, ISSN 0239-4243, ISSN online 2083-7399) publikuje od 1983 roku oryginalne artykuły dotyczące badań z zakresu zootechniki, produktów zwierzęcych, biologii i biogospodarki. Journal of Animal Science, Biology and Bioeconomy jest czasopismem internetowym o  otwartym dostępie  (wydawanym w wersji drukowanej do 2025 roku), zgodnie z Deklaracją Budapeszteńską, na licencji Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0 ). Artykuły opublikowane przed 2022 rokiem są dostępne na licencji Creative Commons Attribution – Non-commercial use – No derived works 4.0 International ( CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 ).
