Submitted: May 13, 2019

Abstract

The investigations were carried out in 2009 near Lublin. The studies included plants grown in Ogród Saski (Lublin), City Garden (Lubartów) and Ogrody Działkowe “Akademicki” (Elizówka). The observations were carried out twice in the vegetation period. After the estimation of the health status the stems and leaves with disease symptoms were collected for further mycological analysis. The isolates of fungi belonging to eleven genera were obtained from dead parts of plants. Among them the dominant were genera known for their pathogenicity toward boxwood: Alternaria alternata, Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium oxysporum, Macrophoma candollei.
