Abstract

The experiment was set on lessive soil developed from heavy loamy sand. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of 500 kg S ha-1 year-1 dose on intensification of respiration activity, intensification of amonification and nitrification processes in soil. The soil was amended
with liquid manure (120 m3 ha-1 year-1) before acid rainfall dose application. Nitrification process was inhibited by acidic rainfall but stimulated by liquid manure fertilization. Sulphating and liquid manure applied stimulated the respiration activity and intensification of amonification processes.
