The aim of the research is to evaluate the usefulness of five cultivars of white clover (Trifolium repens L.) for cultivation in mixtures with grasses on alternating pastures. Usefulness of five selected varieties of white clover for cultivation in pasture mixtures with grasses, was studied for 10 years. Phosphorus fertilizers were used once in spring; nitrogen and potassium ones using 30 kg ha-1 for every cut. The experiment was designed as a simulated pasture with harvest of 5 cuts. Referring to durability and yielding, significantly worst yields were achieved from the mixture with Podkowa cv. Other varieties in mixtures yielded at similar levels. Mixture durability was assessed for about 6 years. Their yielding depended on rainfall during the summer.
