The evaluation of the choice of means of transport in farms based on capacity usage

Abstract

The research carried out and the analysis of the results allowed an evaluation of the influence of capacity usage on the time of work and costs of transport. It was found that on the average for the tested transport sets increasing capacity usage from the lowest assumed interval (up to 0.30) to the highest (more than 0.81) gives considerable profits. The time of loading was decreased form 1.46 to 0.51 h·t^-1 and the costs of transport from 146.22 to 29.10 zł·t^-1 in T₀₂.
