Factors determining the success of growing roses under covers are first of all the date and method of forming shrubs. The way of growing shrubs should be associated with such factors as climatic conditions, demand for flowers, possibilities of yielding roses as well as strength of growth and health of the variety. The aim of the study was to check the impact of new bush formation methods on the yielding and on yield parameters of two varieties of large-flowered roses grown in a foil tunnel without heating. The experiment showed that the bushes carried out with the method of bending some spring shoots increased the number of flower shoots obtained. Bending half of all spring shoots turned out to be the most advantageous in the budding stage and with headed buds. The increased number of flower shoots does not decrease their quality characteristics such as length and weight compared to the control treatment.
