The effect of biomass ash and lime fertilization on the characteristics of grain, flour
and dough from wheat RGT Kilimanjaro cv. was estimated. The application of ash from straw
resulted in a higher value of the weight of a thousand grains and the rate of sedimentation of
winter wheat grain. Increasing the dose of ashes from biomass and lime fertilizer caused
a significant reduction of the thousand grain weight of winter wheat grain. Differentiated doses of
ash in combination with lime fertilizer did not modify the following parameters of the wheat grain:
Zeleny test, test weight, falling number, protein content and starch and gluten content. Farinograph
tests of flour and dough were not significantly determined by the type and amount of the dose of
ash from biomass with lime, trade name Profitkalk, except dough softening after 12 minutes.
Fertilization used in the experiment did not reduce the grain quality of winter wheat RGT
Kilimanjaro.
