Abstract

The two-year studies of grain of three winter wheat cultivars: Zyta, Clever and Kris cultivated in monoculture on six levels of fertilization nitrogen: 0, 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 kg/ha of clean component, were executed. The following examinations were executed: alignment of
grain, mass of thousand grains (MTZ), glasslikeness, grinding of grain on laboratory mill, the content and gluten deliquescence, falling number. The studies affirmed that the differentiation of the level of nitrogen fertilization did not significantly influence the mass of 1000 grains. Increased nitrogen fertilization marked the tendency downward MTZ and alignment together with increased glasslikeness of grains and the content of wet gluten, but gluten was weaker in its quality. Nitrogen fertilization and weather conditions affected the value of flour falling number of studied winter wheat varieties in different ways. Increased nitrogen fertilization influenced the improvement of technological value of the studied cultivars.
