Kształtowanie zbiorowisk trawiastych na terenie starych parków dworskich na przykładzie Zespołu Pałacowo-Parkowego w Falentach

Abstrakt

The determination of different light conditions and renovation methods on the improvement of grass areas was the aim of the study. Two grass areas of different light conditions were set up in the Palace-Park area and the renovation activities (cutting, fertilising, oversowing and full cultivation) were carried out. The changes of turf level, botanical content and general turf condition were analysed. Five times a year-cutting affected the decreasing of ruderal and shrubby plants share in the turf, especially in light sun conditions, but the development of low grasses was not fully satisfactory. The fertilising did not affect the turf improvement in spite of extensive Dactylis glomerata development. In the light sun conditions the oversowing, and especially full cultivation, secured quick turf and botanical composition improvement.
