Abstract

The paper presents four-year field experiment results, connected with the effect of different fertilizing in potato cultivation on content of some mineral nutrients in a light soil ploughing layer. In the potato cultivation technology there were used: mineral fertilizing, manure,
straw from winter triticale, spring barley and peas. Organic fertilization was used with mineral one. The cultivation was carried out after winter triticale with ploughted stubble intercrop or without it. On the basis of the experiment a significant influence of organic fertilization on soil pH, potassium and phosphorus content in ploughing layer was stated. On the other hand, there was no significant influence of applied fertilization on total nitrogen content.
