Abstract

Surveys were conducted in the years 2009–2012 in Łódź Voivodship in 189 production plantations of winter triticale. The applied agrotechnics was evaluated in two groups of plantations divided by area, respectively <2.0 ha and ≥2.0 ha. The index of production technology complexity was found equal to 47.4 and 60.9% in plantations with areas of <2.0 ha and ≥2.0 ha. Plantations with areas ≥2.0 ha were characterized by grain yield 4.3 t∙ha-1 and was  higher by 0.3 t∙ha-1 (7.5%) compared to plantations with areas <2.0 ha. The factors usually occurring at the level corresponding to triticale requirements in both groups of plantations were the soil pH, cropped variety, correct sowing time and protection against weeds. Sowing the certified seed material, occurrence of tramlines, potassium dose ≥60 kg K2O∙ha-1, application of foliar fertilization, fungicides, insecticides and growth regulators are the agrotechnical factors for which the index of production technology complexity was less than 35.0%.
