The aim of the study was to compare the yield of three winter rapeseed cultivars (‘SY Alister F1’, ‘Mentor F1’, ‘Mendelson F1’) depending on the amount of seed sown (40 and 60 pcs. · m‒2). Strict field experience was located in the field of the Podkarpackie Agricultural Advisory Center in Boguchwała. Increasing the number of seeds sown from 40 to 60 pcs. · m‒2 resulted in an increase in plant density per unit area, but a decrease in the number of pods per plant, number of seeds in pods and MTN. The average seed yield and fat yield per hectare were not modified by experiment factors. Plants of the ‘Mentor F1’ cultivar had the best winter hardiness, while set the least number of pods. The ‘SY Alister F1’ cultivar had a better emergence than the ‘Mentor F1’ cultivar and higher crude fat content in seeds compared to the ‘Mendelson F1’ cultivar.
