The study was aimed at evaluating the yield-forming value of 6 durum wheat lines (Triticum durum Desf.). The experiment was set in 2002–2006 in The Experimental Farm Czesławice near Nałęczów by means of randomized blocks in 3 replications. Each plot was of 30 m2 area. Yields and some of its elements were assessed: rachis length, number of spikelets per ear, number of grains per ear and spikelet, weight of grains per ear, 1000 grain weight and weight of grain hectoliter. The technological value was evaluated on the basis of the following parameters: grain vitreosity, protein and gluten content, ash content, as well as sedimentation number. Grain color and flour color (semolina) was estimated visually. The highest yield in the analyzed period was recorded for LGR 900/3a line (54.4 dt/ha, on average). Moreover, that line was characterized by high 1000 grain weight (52.6 g) and weight of grain per ear (2.04 g). The grain of all studied lines was amber or dark amber in color. Depending on the studied year, flour was darkcreamy to creamy-yellow.
