Intensive fruits production involves the use of a large number of different means of production that may cause fruit safety risk. Prevention of these threats is fostered by the proper attitudes of producers in the field of broadly understood safety. The purpose of the work was to examine the attitudes of fruits producers both non-associated and associated in producers’ organizations in the field of safety. For this purpose, questionnaire surveys were conducted in a group of 76 fruit producers. The research shows that both non-associated producers and those associated in producers organizations showed positive attitudes in the field of hygiene, health and safety of employees. Both groups of producers were convinced that the application of health and safety rules is important for the health and safety of employees, and the use of integrated plant protection contributes to the safety of products.
