Badano pobranie azotu, fosforu, potasu, wapnia i magnezu oraz wody przez rośliny pomidora uprawiane w trzech niezależnych systemach cienkowarstwowych kultur przepływowych (CKP), zasilanych pożywką o zróżnicowanej zawartości siarczanów, tj. I - 200, II - 400 i III - 600 mg dm -3. Pobieranie składników i wody zależało głównie od fazy wzrostu, a w mniejszym stopniu od zawartości siarczanów w pożywkach. Średnie dzienne pobranie składników przez pojedynczą roślinę pomidora wynosiło (mg): azot -131,4; fosfor - 31,6; potas - 229,6; wapń - 100,7; magnez - 23,2, natomiast wody - 1084 cm 3.
