Abstract
The investigation was carried out to compare two varieties of lentil: Anita and Tina cultivated on three different levels of technology of cultivation: low, medium and high. Higher yields were obtained with intensive technology, lower ones on the lowest level of technology. The average difference between the compared yields was about 40%. Especially positive effects of the highest level of technology were found when weather conditions were extremely bad. The highest level of technology showed positive effects both on plant growth and plant protection.
