The investigations were carried out comparing different production technologies of the seeds of two edible lentil varieties, Tina and Anita. It was found out that the production technology level had a significant influence on the yield as well the energetic value of the yield. The highest index of energy efficiency in Tina cultivar was obtained in the technology where there was the highest energy input whereas in the case of Anita it was the technology where there was a middle energy input.
