An attempt at economic evaluate differentiated pre-sowing cultivation based on an example of winter triticale

Dorota Dopka

Abstract

The aim of the present study was to calculate the winter triticale production costs. The obtained direct and indirect costs constituted the overall costs which were the basis to calculate the index of profitability. It was the highest in the case of the pre-sowing cultivation with a cultivator (246%) and the nitrogen fertilization at the dose of 100 kg ha-1 (241%). The combination of obtaining high grain yield, low demand for traction force and fuel consumption, in respect to the presowing cultivation with a cultivator and the nitrogen dose of 100 kg ha-1 resulted in the best final effect (the index of profitability amounted to 252%).
