An Attempt to evaluate the differentiated pre-sowing cultivation based on an example of winter triticale in relation to the yielding and changes of the yield components

Dorota Dopka

Abstract

The aim of the research was an attempt to evaluate the effect of varied pre-sowing cultivation on the level of yielding and changes of the winter triticale yield components. In a threeyear cultivation experiment, the replacement of the traditional pre-sowing cultivation with simplified cultivation treatments did not result in marked changes in grain and straw yield level. It was proved that the application of a cultivator before sowing positively influenced an increase in the number of grains and spikelets in an ear. Sowing preceded by ploughing positively influenced winder triticale germination. The cereal yielding was also significantly influenced by changeable climatic and soil conditions in individual growing seasons.
