The study presents general characteristics of foliar fertilizers offered on the domestic market. Their division was based on the following criteria: physical features, chemical form, content of additional mineral components and substances improving the useable features of the fertilizers, number and kind of elements contained in the fertilizers and their appropriation. Agricultural evaluation was carried out and the basic criteria of their application were given. The enclosed table refers to the content of nutrient components in the multi-component foliar fertilizers in the 4o scale. The study is closed with a chapter presenting selected European Union law regulations related to inorganic fertilizers characteristics.
