Abstract
Research was based on the outcomes of a field experiment carried out in years 2004–2006, on good rye complex of soil. The experiment was established by a split-plot method, with the following experimental factors: four technologies (B) with the use of Asahi SL biostimulator, (C) with the use of foliar nutrition Chrońplon PK, (D) with the use of foliar nutrition Ekolist Zm; (A) control – without any biostimulator and any foliar nutrition were investigated. Ten potato varieties of all groups were considered a second degree factor. The best, comparing to control object, protective effect (extending plant vegetation season) was achieved by Chrońplon PK usage. Asahi SL and Ekolist Zm also reduced the speed of early blight and late blight spread. Their treatment will be particularly valuable when plants are exposed to stressful weather conditions.
